For future use, remember you need to open the document you save in AUlab with your DAC plugged in to have your EQ workYou can click on the document file directly wherever you saved it, or you can right click AUlab on the taskbar at the bottom of the Mac screen and open it up there. You can also test the functionality of the plug in by setting the volume bar at the bottom of Audio 1 to a negative or positive gain and seeing if the volume change is present.
